Ocean Park - Aquanaut and Shark Tank

While we were at the Ocean Park in Manila, we did a couple of the activities they offer there. You can get into the aquarium with a wet suit and helmet that holds about 10 minutes of air. They called this the "Aquanaut". Some of us also got into a shark cage and went into the shark tank.

Palawan Island

The second weekend trip we took was a over nighter... We went on a city tour, visited a crocodile farm, sat by the pool with drinks, walked the beach, went to the Underground River, and zip lining. It was all so much fun. Here are some pictures.

City Tour

 

This statue is in salute to American POW's that were massacred  on 12/14/44 by Japanese guards. They poured gasoline into the shelters on the POW's and set them on fire.. Only 11 survived. The picture below is the statue that is on top of this monument.

Next we visited the Crocodile Farm.

 

 This was a 17 foot Croc... and his skin they preserved. He died by eating something bad if I remember correctly.

We stopped for lunch at Bakers Hill

 

This is the resturant we ate at.

 

 

 Then we were off to the hotel.. It was so beautiful... I would go back in a second.

 

The Sheridan Resort

 

 

 

 

The first night there, we played pool and darts, had pizza and drinks.. It was fun and relaxing.
